Christchurch Earthquake disaster

We are happy to report that none of our ICS ANZ members were injured or killed in the recent earthquake events to rock Christchurch in New Zealand.

The disaster is horrific and it is amazing that more were not killed amongst the twisted wreckage of buildings, houses and vehicles. Our thoughts are with all who are affected by this event and especially Robert Hill of South Sea Shipping who is our ICS ANZ Branch Secretary.

The New Zealand Chapter administers the Understanding Shipping course which is seperate to the courses offered through the DLC.
