ICS Celebrates its Centenary in 2011

The ICS turns 100 this year and there will be some celebrations planned around the world to mark the occasion. We will make the ICS Shipping Ball on 12th August our local event and it is not yet ready for bookings but you can see a presentation given by London to understand the full plans from London - Click Here.

So if you should find yourself in London on 26th May 2011 you may like to join in on the festivities. But let London ICS know and they will arrange it for you.

ICS History - The book

In time for the Centenary of the ICS, the Institute has launched a new book called "Quality Ashore" about the history of the ICS. It is a good read well written by Stephanie Zarach and a must for all FICS and MICS' home or office libraries.

BRANCH AGM 2011

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Australia & New Zealand Branch will hold its AGM in August 2011at a date to be decided at the MTSV in Melbourne and it was immediately followed by the first committee meeting for the year.
