The Australia and New Zealand Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS-ANZ) holds frequent Online webinars and Tutorials on topical issues of concern to the maritime industry.

On 31 August 2021 at 0700 UTC/GMT, the issue will be Maritime Cyber Risk Management. The flyer with details is below and attached.

The Operational Technology (OT) of ships, shipping companies, ports, refineries and petrochemical plants, among other entities, have been “hacked” in the recent past. The cost of repair has been huge. For example, Maersk suffered an impact of $300 to $400 million in 2017.

The ICS-ANZ wants to share some knowledge about the threat and how to manage it. You are welcome to join us.
