Young ICS Professionals
Young ICS Professionals is an initiative of the ICS-ANZ Branch to recognise and cultivate leadership amongst the next generation of maritime professionals.
If you are under 40 years of age and working in the maritime industry, then you should join Young ICS.
The group meets on a regular basis to engage in social, educational and information sessions. Senior ICS members continuously mentor and guide the Young ICS members. This is a great way to network your way through the wider maritime industry, with like-minded professionals.
If you are interested in becoming a Young ICS member, please email us at email@example.com and the President will contact you. The group is currently active only in Melbourne so should you wish to start a Young ICS group in your city, once again, email firstname.lastname@example.org and the President will get in touch with you.
AMTAC and MLAANZ Arbitration Panels
The ICS-ANZ Branch was one of the foundation members of the AMTAC (Australian Maritime and Transport Arbitration Commission). AMTAC’s objectives are to support and facilitate both international and domestic arbitration and mediation in respect of maritime and transport disputes and to promote Australia and the region as a recognised leader in maritime and transport scholarship, maritime affairs and commercial maritime dispute resolution.
Members interested in joining the panels of either organisation are referred to the appropriate web site for each organisation, being www.amtac.org.au in the case of AMTAC and www.mlaanz.org in the case of MLAANZ. Any member with queries in relation to the panels can call or email Michelle Sindler for AMTAC on 02 9223 1099 and email@example.com or Ron Salter for MLAANZ on 0411 236 394 and firstname.lastname@example.org.
