The AusGrain 2013 charter-party was developed by Grain Trade Australia (GTA) primarily to serve the grain trade of Australia, following the demise of the Australian Wheat Board. Geoff Farnsworth, the Director of GTA and a member of the GTA Export Arbitration Pane,ldiscusses the issues and related matters that led to the development of the new charter-party and compares its clauses to the exisiting charter parties.

Geoff Farnsworth is a Director of M+K Lawyers, one of the largest commercial law firms in Australia specialising in the mid-market.
